An AI receptionist that never misses a call.

You are up a ladder or elbow-deep in a job when the phone goes. If nobody answers, the caller rings the next name on the list, and that work is gone before you have wiped your hands. An AI receptionist picks up every time. It greets the caller, asks what they need, takes a name and number, and either books the job or sends you a message in writing. It never takes lunch and it never loses the note. Missed calls are lost jobs; this is the practical fix, built around how your business actually takes work.

An honest answer by Wednesday 14 October from a £300 consultation on whether this fits how you work. The receptionist is £2,500 to build, then £199 a month, and you own it.

The problem this solves.

✕Calls come while you are on the tools, and voicemail is where new work goes to die.
✕Callers who get no answer ring the next firm on the list rather than leave a voicemail.
✕Hiring a receptionist means a full-time wage for a phone that rings in bursts.
✕Evenings and weekends bring enquiries too, and nobody is sitting by your phone at eight on a Sunday.
✕By the time you ring back at six, the customer has booked someone else, and you never find out how often.

What we build.

Answers every call

Day or night, it picks up within a few rings. It greets the caller properly, asks what the job is and where, and takes a name and number every time. The phone gets answered while you are on the tools or driving between jobs.

Everything in writing

After each call you get a written record: who rang, their number, what they want and what was agreed. No scribbled note on a bit of timber, no voicemail you cannot make out over a van engine. Ring back when you are ready with the details in front of you.

Books the job or takes a message

If you want it in charge of the diary, it offers real slots and confirms the booking on the call. If you would rather keep the diary yourself, it takes a message and flags the urgent ones, so a burst pipe gets rung back before a fence quote.

Trained on your business

Nobody wants a robot reading a generic script. Yours is set up around the work you actually do and the questions callers always ask, and it answers in plain English. When a call needs the owner, it says so and hands the caller over instead of bluffing.

Run on our own line

Our own phone line works this way. Calls forward so they get answered, and anything missed is transcribed to email and logged in our client portal, so no enquiry dies in a voicemail box. We tell clients missed calls are lost jobs, and we run our own line accordingly.

What the search data says.

Around 1,000 UK owners a month search for an AI receptionist. You are one of them, and you probably arrived the same way: another call rang out while you were up a ladder or on the tools. Providers pay Google an average of £28.56 a click to reach that search. We publish our prices instead and let you decide. Hardly any of your competitors have missed calls sorted yet.

How it works.

01
Map it first

Every build starts with a look at your calls: how many ring out while you are working, and what a missed job is worth in your trade. From there we agree what the receptionist should handle on its own and what gets passed straight to you.

02
Build it around you

The receptionist is set up with your greeting, your services, your hours and your rules for what counts as urgent. It connects through simple call forwarding, so you keep your existing number and callers notice nothing, except that someone always answers.

03
Test it hard

Before it ever speaks to a customer, we ring it ourselves with awkward questions and mumbled postcodes. You hear the recordings and read the summaries, and we keep tuning until you would trust it with a real enquiry. It goes live when it is right, not before.

04
Hand it over

At handover you get the logins and plain written instructions, and we show you how to change things yourself. You own the setup outright. Keep us on to tune it monthly if that is useful, or run it alone: either way there is no lock-in, and 30 days notice ends it.

Built by people who use it daily.

Practical AI that works for your business, not a tech demo. We map what your calls need, build the receptionist, test it until it earns your trust, then hand it over as yours. The prices below are published for everyone and they are the ones you pay.

The questions everyone asks.

Yes, if they ask, it says so, and we would not want it any other way. In practice most callers just want the job sorted. The voice is natural and it does not rush anyone, and what loses work is a phone ringing out, not an honest receptionist that answers and takes the details properly.
It says so honestly and takes a message instead of guessing. During setup we agree exactly what it should handle and how bookings work, and anything outside that gets passed to you with a note of what the caller wanted. You see every call summary, so if the same odd question keeps coming up, we teach it the answer and it handles it next time.
No. Your existing number stays exactly as it is. We add call forwarding behind it, so the receptionist picks up when you do not, or answers everything if you would rather never be interrupted on a job. Cancel and the forwarding is simply switched off, your line back to normal. You own the number and everything we set up: no lock-in, 30 days notice.
Usually a couple of weeks for a straightforward build: one conversation to map what it should handle, a few days to build and connect the forwarding, then testing until you are happy to let it loose. The better question is how quickly it pays for itself, and that depends on how many calls you miss. One booked job that would have gone to voicemail can cover a month on its own.
An answering service is usually a person taking messages for many firms at once, and for some businesses that is enough. It cannot book a job into your diary, though, and it clocks off at night. The AI receptionist answers the same way at two in the afternoon or two in the morning, and the record it sends is word for word. If a simple answering service genuinely suits you better, we will say so in the first conversation.
