If something off the shelf handles the job for forty pounds, saying so costs us a sale and keeps us worth calling next time. Custom is for when the ready-made answer genuinely does not fit, which usually means your process is unusual or you need two systems to work together in a way nobody anticipated.
The monthly plan is not optional on this product, and it is fair to say why plainly. Custom code is a permanent maintenance liability: WordPress and its plugins update constantly, and something built for your site today will eventually break against a future update. Without a maintenance arrangement, either you pay for that repeatedly or we fix it free forever, and neither of those is honest.
You have a specific job your website cannot do, you have looked at the available plugins, and none of them fits without compromising how you work. The workaround you are using now costs real time every week. You would rather have something built around your process than change your process to suit software.
If a plugin does it, buy the plugin, and we will tell you when that is the case. If what you need is a whole system rather than a piece of functionality on your website, the Portal tiers or the Bespoke System Build fit better. If you are not prepared to keep it maintained, do not commission custom code at all.
We charge for work, and that is all. Your ad spend, your software subscriptions and anything else bought on your behalf go on your own accounts at cost, with nothing added by us.
