The detail

You get the WordPress core, theme and plugin updates applied, daily backups, uptime monitoring so a site that goes down is noticed, and a route to raise anything through the portal rather than hoping an email gets read. Left alone, WordPress sites drift: plugins go stale, security gaps open, and the backup you assumed was running quietly stopped months ago.

Worth being clear about where the line is. Maintenance keeps the site alive and secure but does not change what is on it. If you want us making the content changes as well, that is the Website Care Plan, which is maintenance plus a set number of small changes each month. The ladder runs hosting, then maintenance, then care.

Who this is for

You have a WordPress site you are happy with and you do not want to be the person applying plugin updates on a Sunday night. You rarely need the content changed, or you are comfortable doing those edits yourself. What you want is for the site to stay secure, stay backed up, and for somebody to notice if it goes offline.

When this is not the right answer

If you regularly need text changed, images swapped or prices updated, this plan does not cover that and you will end up asking anyway: the Website Care Plan includes the changes and is the better buy. If you only need somewhere for the site to live, the Managed Hosting on its own is the right plan.

Common questions

This keeps the site alive: updates, backups, monitoring, security. The Website Care Plan does all of that and also makes the changes for you, up to four small changes a month. If you find yourself asking for edits, you want the care plan rather than this.

No. Maintenance can look after a site hosted elsewhere. Hosting and maintenance are usually taken together because it is simpler when one team is responsible for both, but they are separate products and you can take just this one.

If we are looking after it and it gets hit, we clean it up and there is no bill for it. Two honest exceptions: cover starts after your first thirty days with us, and it does not apply to sites broken into through pirated plugins or themes.

Through the portal. It becomes a ticket with a record attached to your site, rather than an email that gets buried. You can see what you raised and what happened to it, which is the point of doing it that way.

How we make money

We charge for work, and that is all. Your ad spend, your software subscriptions and anything else bought on your behalf go on your own accounts at cost, with nothing added by us.
